Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK)
The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) initiated a process to identify a qualified firm to guide and execute a strategic planning process with involving both its Board of Trustees and staff to produce a three-to- five-year strategic plan.
TASK sought out The Br'Island Group as it demonstrates strong understanding of nonprofit structure and operations and has proven experience with nonprofit strategic planning. In making its selection, TASK identified TBG as having experience in working with clients that serve diverse low-income populations and a track-record of advising charities regarding how best to scale their impact and inspiring them to think innovatively will be preferred.

The primary deliverable for this engagement was a written organizational strategic plan document that presents the planning process, research, analysis, opportunities, threats, and strategies along with an implementation plan that will guide TASK activities for the next three to five years.
This proposal was submitted jointly by Br’Island Group and Princeton Partners in response to TASK’s RFP for strategic planning services. The principles of the two organizations are committed to excellence in all aspects of their work and have developed reputations for client-centered approaches to support the growth and advance the mission of the organizations with which they have worked.
